ABOUT THE FILM
Boots is short documentary that explores the nuances of being a queer equestrian. Boots features three equestrians, each representing different parts of the LGBTQ+ community, and tells their stories, which detail the unique intersection they find themselves in. Through the telling of their stories and experiences, complex themes of belonging and acceptance are explored. Boots also examines how hate can manifest itself and challenge systems not built for oneself.
